5 days lake Mburo and Murchison falls safari entails rst a visit to Murchison falls national park, Uganda’s largest national park for a wildlife experience and later you will later in head to lake mburo national park Uganda’s nearest national park from Kampala.
Upon arrival/depending on your location in Kampala, we will pick you up and transfer to Murchison falls national park via Masindi, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking experience and lunch. Later proceed to the enter the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa safari lodge (luxury), Fort Murchison lodge (midrange), Red Chill rest camp (budget)
After morning breakfast, you will embark on a game drive. The activity takes about 3-5 hours depending on the availability of animals; expect to see variety animals including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks. After the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon go for a boat cruise on the along the Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. You will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingsher, cormorants and bee-eater. You will then hike up to nd the falls through Bakers trail and also be able to stand at bakers stone (brings you closer to the bottom of the falls) this hike is a bit tuff but it’s fascinating as you will enjoy to see the falls at different points and nally when you reach at the top of the falls, you will be amazed and eventually forget about the tuff hike. After spending a good time at the top of the falls, you will meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at as above
Have breakfast and embark on your journey to Lake Mburo national park-smallest national park. This is a full day drive with en route lunch in Kampala, equator and arrive in the park in the evening then connect to your lodge for relaxation. After an early breakfast, explore the park’s beauty with a morning game drive in search of animals that can be found like the Zebras, Elands, Impalas, Topis, and Buffaloes. Later connect to you lodge for lunch before heading for your boat trip on lake Mburo to explore water animals including crocodiles, hippos and different bird species like Fish Eagle and the rare shoebill stork. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight stay as above
After have breakfast, meet your driver and embark on your 6 hours drive to reach Entebbe, however you will have a stopover for lunch then also at the Equator if you want to do some shopping. Connect to Entebbe Airport for your afternoon ight back home
